For our client from Austria, providing IT consulting and technology services, we're currently looking for Software Architect.

Your tasks:

  • You will be responsible for creating high-level designs and architecture concepts for our cloud-based solutions.
  • You will also actively participate in the implementation of the HLDs you design.
  • You promote automation and innovation.
  • You ensure the quality, scalability, security, and performance of our solutions and define the corresponding requirements, guidelines and best practices.
  • You ensure that the APIs are documented and systematically designed.
  • You are up to date with the latest technology trends and developments and contribute your knowledge and experience to our projects.

Job requirements

Your profile:

  • Many years of professional experience in software development and architecture with microservices and preferably Java.
  • Ideally, you already have experience with Microsoft Azure, and you are familiar with Logic Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, etc.
  • You have asked yourself the following questions at least once - Monolith or Microservices? Shared database or database per service? What is event sourcing? How is a request tracked across the system? You have also found well-founded answers.
  • You have good knowledge and experience with RESTful APIs, Kubernetes or Docker or similar and other relevant technologies and frameworks.
  • You speak fluent English and ideally German.

About the company

They work with modern technologies and methods, such as microservices, RESTful APIs, Java, Spring, Docker, Azure (Hybrid Cloud). They strive for a true DevOps model where transparency and continuous improvement prevail.

They would define projects such as "Development of a microservice with connection to the existing CRM system (Oracle) and network documentation system, with a rough technical design as a basis.

Goals of the project would be 1) creation of a high-level design, 2) creation of a low-level design (LLD), 3) development based on the LLD.
